We at the Courageous Healers Foundation like to meet our clients on a human level. Meet them where they are at. We believe there is no one size fits all therapy model when it comes to healing the scars of unresolved childhood trauma or ACE’s – Adverse Childhood Experiences. Therefore, we implement an eclectic approach when working with our clients to ensure they are given the best tools and chance of a full and healthy recovery. Below are the five methods we implement.
A Coach is a Personal Change Expert – Coaches help people grow faster, perform at higher levels, understand themselves more deeply, and live with greater purpose and fulfillment – Coaching is a Transparent Relationship – Coaching is a Support System for Change – Coaching is Continuous Leadership Development –What Can I Work on With a Coach? The answer is, "Just about anything!" – Coaching is a Support System for Change – Coaching is Continuous Leadership Development – What Can I Work on With a Coach? The answer is, "Just about anything!" – Slowing down- Turning a dream into reality – you only need to answer the question, "What do I want to accomplish?"
Mentoring is a process of helping someone acquire skills, attitudes, behaviors already mastered by the mentor –Focus on all the positive skills, traits, behaviors found in the mentor – There is a lot of teaching, modeling, and practice involved in good mentoring – Client wants to be like the mentor.
COUNSELING & THERAPY
Focus on the past – Focus on fixing problems through understanding past influences, experiences, and tendencies – Often ongoing – Usually, client has a problem or issue that is causing pain and they want it to go away – Clients want to be fixed
Many people carry wounds from their past into their present without realizing it. “Inner Healing” is intended to help people find freedom from the emotional aftermath of harmful or traumatic experiences –This is one of the most vital and important areas of deliverance ministry that we cannot overlook –The goal is not to forget a hurtful event or trauma, but to receive healing for that event, where the Holy Spirit removes the stinger from it. When we look back upon a healed wound, we can see it in a different way, because it has been healed and is no longer painful to look back upon – The first thing we need to do is identify the problem and realize the need for inner healing.
